THE JOURNEY

A Journey Through Forgotten Flavours and Future Feasts

Time Traveller’s Guide to Gastronomy is an ambitious touring exhibition that uses gastronomy as a gateway to understanding deep time, biodiversity loss, and future sustainable food systems. Set within a speculative sci‑fi framework, the exhibition invites audiences into a fictional dining experience where lost flavours of the past and possible meals of the future are explored through hyper‑realistic models, scenography, and narratives developed in close collaboration with scientists, chefs, and thinkers.

The exhibition translates abstract global challenges into something tangible and emotional. By linking climate change and biodiversity loss to something deeply human—food, pleasure, and loss—it creates strong engagement without moralising or prescribing behaviour.
